Vermont Gray Black is often selected for its uniform appearance and will exhibit a few earth tones as it “weathers” over time — which will nicely complement the stone exterior of this beautiful residence.

120 squares of 18″ x random width heavy grade slate were installed by A-Best Roofing. Heavy Grade slate is distinguishable from synthetic materials with its naturally textured stone surface and its 1/2″ to 3/4″ thickness. Greenstone’s heavy-grade slate comes under their HailFire™ designation for its 100% resistance to fire and for far exceeding the ANSI FM 4473 Class 4 rating (highest possible) for impact (hail) resistance.
