Grand Illinois residence maintains old European flair with Greenstone Vermont slate

Greenstone Slate® Vermont Non-weathering Gray Green slate was selected for this traditionally-installed slate roof. Vermont Non-weathering Gray Green is one of the more popular slate colors due to its soft green and gray variations, making it a great choice given the complexity of this project’s aesthetics. The slate color and texture nicely complement the stone and brick exterior of this beautiful residence.

Etruscan Roofing and Gutters installed the 18″ x random width, standard grade slates across the large roof which consists of both hip and gable designs, slate dormers and a tower. Copper flashing and snow guards were also installed.
