Saratoga Springs SlateTec Re-Roof

Prime Construction Saratoga, completed a premium re-roof using the SlateTec patented lightweight installation method. This genuine slate application features Greenstone Slate’s non-fading variegated purple slate, selected for its vibrant, non-weathering color palette. The 12” S1 slates were installed at an 8″ exposure random-width pattern, showcasing the slate’s rich color range from plum to deep magenta with striking green splashes.

The SlateTec method requires far less overlap, reducing the weight by as much as 40% of a traditional slate roof, bringing the benefits of genuine slate to projects where weight limitations excluded natural stone from being used.
